The Big Pitch Environmental Forum is set to be the most informative environmental conference to hit a college campus in Canada. Students, faculty and community members looking to learn about environmental solutions on campus and in their community will gain valuable knowledge at this event. The presenters will include industry experts in the fields of ecology, environmental sciences and engineering and technology for the environment. The speakers will provide up to date and top-notch expertise on environmental solutions for students, community members and industry.

Presenters include: Lloyd Helferty – Member of the Steering Committee for the Canadian Biochar Initiative, Katie Fullerton of Live Green Toronto, Colin Lacey – Stewardship Coordinator of Evergreen, Tonya Lagrasta –Sustainability Coordinator for the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Cathy Nesbitt – Cathy Crawly Composters, Ellen McGregor – CEO – Fielding Chemical Technologies Incorporated, and more. A wide range of areas will represent industry exhibitors from automotive manufacturers to power companies and government services. Exhibitors will distribute materials on their product innovation and environmental solutions. Interactive displays will be available to be used by participants. The opportunity to discover the newest and most current developments in environmental solutions will be given to all that attend. Students will have the opportunity to ask the presenters questions and to meet the speakers one-on-one following each presentation.

There is no charge to attend the event and everyone is welcome with no prior registration being required. The event is also open to community members and students alike. There is no dress code but anything green is sure to be rewarded. Dress green, go green and live green is all that is requested of attendees.
